January Empties

The 100 Day Challenge has really been the push I needed to reorganise my beauty products and actually use up products before starting new ones. My main focus this month has been perfumes. After getting new ones for my birthday and Christmas I realised that I still had about 8 perfumes from a few years ago that were almost done and then became neglected and hidden by newer scents.

The Body Shop White Musk Eau De Toilette £10 (30ml)
I've had this perfume for so long, the packaging isn't even the one they have anymore. I got it in a Christmas gift set a few years ago and never quite finished the bottle. Thanks 100 Day Spending Challenge for helping me along.

Would I Repurchase?

I've still got at least another full bottle to get through so repurchasing at the moment isn't necessary.

Suddenly Madame Glamour 30ml £3.99
I bought this as it's a Chanel cheapy dupe and it was such a lovely scent. Being able to buy a perfume from Lidl for less than a fiver that can be used everyday is a big bonus.

Would I repurchase?

Yes. A gorgeous smelling perfume without the huge price tag

Simple Soothing Facial Toner £2.99 (200ml)
I got this as part of a skincare set last Christmas and I liked it the best. It's so hard to find a toner that doesn't sting your face off and Simple fits the bill perfectly.

Would I repurchase?

I would. A good price for a nice toner.

FCUK Soak it up bath foam (250ml)
This is one of those products that you get in a gift set at Christmas and it either goes straight into the bathroom or else it ends up at the bottom of a box or the back of a drawer.  Unfortunately this bath foam lay unloved for well over a year and then it finally seen the light of day and ended up in my bathroom.

Would I repurchase?

I'm not sure you even can buy it on it's own. It's a lovely scent so if you could I probably would.

Lee Stafford Hair That Doesn't Grow Past a Certain Length Treatment £7.99 (200ml)
This doesn't even need an explanation. This isn't my first tub and certainly won't be the last. I've sang it's praises many times before.

Would I Repurchase?

I have and I will... forever!

L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore Repairing Shampoo £3.99 (400ml)
Am I the only person who likes to try out different perfumes when they're on offer in Boots, Superdrug or the supermarket? This was probably half price or on buy one get one free when I got it. I was a fan of the L'Oreal Elvive that came in a pink bottle and thought a repairing shampoo would be good.

Would I Repurchase?

Nope! My hair felt drier after using it so even if it was 99p it wouldn't be worth it.

Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Lip Balm £1.89 (4g)
The cold weather hit and so my poor lips became more dry, more chapped and more sore.
I'm a fan of the Cocoa Butter Moisturiser so gave the lip balm a go - to the point that I was scrapping the balm out to get every last cm.

Would I repurchase?

Yup, a lovely scented lip balm. Not the most moisturising but because it's easy to apply I don't mind reapplying often.

Nivea Hydro Care Lip Balm £1.99 (4g)
Another lip balm that has been used over and over the past month. I've probably had it for a few months so it was about time that it got finished.

Would I Repurchase?
I probably would. It's quite a good one for popping in the handbag.
