Soap and Glory Hot Cloth Cleanser Review

Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser with Muslin Cloth

When my skin started breaking out I knew I needed to sort out my skincare routine and stop relying on makeup wipes to get rid of my makeup at night. I prefer liquid based cleansers but with dry skin I knew I needed to use a cream cleanser so when I stumbled about the Fab Pore cleanser by Soap and Glory I was intrigued.

The most obvious thing which springs to mind when you hear 'Hot Cloth Cleanser' is Liz Earle. I've wanted to try it for a while but I'm impatient when it comes to deliveries so being able to pick this up in store just seemed more convenient to me. Also seemed cheaper. Both this one and Liz Earle's have 100ml, whilst the Liz Earle version is £4.25 more. So straight away this cleanser is quite affordable.
As for the packaging, it's really easy to squeeze out a "splodge" and the tube could easily be cut in order to get every last drop out. I wish the lid wasn't a screw off one - but that's just being picky.

The actual cleanser is lovely and creamy, which feels soft on the skin and doesn't dehydrate your skin whilst cleaning it. It doesn't take too much scrubbing in order to have squeaky clean skin and eyelashes. The panthenol helps keep the skin moisturised whilst the cleanser cleans out pores and removes makeup.

The smell of lavender totally stood out to me, but not in a bad way. It reminded me of the sleep spray from The Body Shop. The smell doesn't linger at all so don't worry about walking around with a smelly face!

I can't compare this to the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser as I've never used it but this trumps it price wise, and from what I've experienced could seriously give it a run for it's money performance wise!

Have you tried this or any other hot cloth cleanser? What's your favourite type or brand of cleanser to use?
