OPI Designer De Better Swatches from Muppets Collection

OPI are well known for their collections released throughout the year. These collections are made up of quirky colours reflecting catwalk trends. The Holiday release from 2011 was the Muppets Collection and I was really impressed by the mix of colours. They were described as "12 vibrant hues that sparkle, shine and (always!) have a good time" capturing the colours of the Disney Muppet characters. Obviously you can't be expected to love them all but I've definitely developed a favourite in
Designer De Better.

Designer De Better is a beautiful mix of fine copper and silver glitter which creates a lovely shimmer. This polish changes depending on the sunlight so looks like a pink champagne until the light reflects the silver and copper glitters leaving a gorgeous metallic colour.

This thin polish is completely opaque with only two coats and can last the whole week with a top coat. It dries quickly and doesn't chip very easily.

As OPI retails at £11 in the UK I think the minis are a perfect way to try out these high quality (although nothing Models Own can't match) polishes. The set of 4 minis (3.75ml) cost £12.95 from OPI but are known to appear on buyapowa.com and ebay for cheaper.

Have you tried any of the OPI collections? Which one is your favourite?
Any ideas for future OPI collections?
