American Makeup Wishlist

EOS Lip Balm
Possibly the most talked about lip balm on youtube? It's probably quite a gimmicky product soley due to the shape but I doubt it would be as talked about if it didn't do a bit of moisturising. There is a similar UK version out called the Balmi but reviews aren't as raving as EOS unfortunately.

Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Starter Kit
Make Up For Ever HD foundation is talked about quite a lot as being a great foundation so I imagine this set would result in an amazing airbrushed look. Sephora has this set at quite a cheap price for having a foundation, primer, kabuki brush and powder.

Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash Mascara
Yet another product spoken about on youtube as being a must have product. This mascara looks like it's got quite a plain, large wand but gives an all rounder better eyelash look. The thing that makes me most want to try this is the colour. This is meant to be super pigmented which is a must have for my fair- near invisible- lashes.

Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
This mascara is the most popular Covergirl mascara and the packaging reminds me of the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara but is quite a bit cheaper. If it is any where near as good as False Lash I can see why it's so popular.

Maybelline Baby Lips Tinted Lip Balm
This is one of the lip products that's been released in the US and we've just been waiting patiently for it to launch here. And waiting. And waiting. Unlike the Revlon Lip Butters this  lip product never reached us and I was so excited to try out a product that had colour but was just like wearing an average lip balm.

Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette
This concealer palette is super cheap and is one of those products that's so handy for all the different concealing needs, rather than buying loads of different products. Although I predominantly wear liquid concealers I'm quite a fan of cream concealers - their consistency and coverage- which is the reason I'm gutted we can't get our hands on this.

What products are on your American makeup wishlist? Are you lucky enough to have a friend or relative to send stuff over to you or have you ever taken part in a swap?

  2. I love my EOS lip ball, we only have 3 flavors in Canada we just got the strawberry one is hard to find, only some retailers carry the strawberry one. The Baby lips is great, I only have the clear one wish I got a tinted one for some color. Cover girl lash blast is amazing mascara, but don't ever get the 24/7 one its stubborn to get off.

    1. I think the Strawberry one would be my favourite one! Is the 24/7 a waterproof version? x

  3. I live in the Netherlands and they either don't launch stuff here or we get it super late. But I actually own 1 of the EOS lipbalms because 1 of the dutch webshops sells them. I have been wanting to try the hard candy glamoflauge, the maybelline baby lips and some theBalm products even though I can get them online. I find them pretty expensive compared to the US prices, plus I have to pay shipping.... And of course Cover Girl lash blast and their eyeshadows, although I think Cover Girl might just be the same as Max Factor but a different name and branding strategy.

    1. It's not fair eh! Yeah I think i could probably get hold of some of these things online but the prices would be far more than they're worth and the postage would be expensive. Oh really? I thought Cover Girl was quite a bit cheaper than Max Factor x

  5. I really want to try the EOS lip balms as well, another American product I'd love to try is Physicians Formula Happy Booster- can get it on ebay but is stupidly expensive with shipping. I'd really like to do an international swap at some point but heard some horror stories about people being ripped off so a bit undecided x

    1. I hate that you can technically get hold of these things but the prices are far to expensive and probably not worth it at all. Yeah doing swaps are risky. You have to be really trusting and know the person well. x

  6. I have both the EOS and Baby Lips! The EOS is adorable, but the Baby Lips is much better with moisturizing!
