House of Fraser Autumn/Winter Look

When Rhiannon contacted me about taking part in the House of Fraser Blogger Style Challenge I couldn't wait to start selecting pieces and putting them all together.
I knew straight away that the Autumn-Winter 2012/2013 trend that I wanted to embrace was Heritage Elegance.
I opted for a workwear look incorporating tweed, leather, silk and woollen materials.

Slate Greys, Camel Browns and Rich Fuchsias are key for this look's colour palette. The prominent pieces for this Heritage Elegance look are the Chequed Blazer and the silk blouse which are both gorgeous. I think they'd look perfect together as the sleeve detail peeks out below the blazer and the colours compliment each other well. The cropped style trousers add a relaxed, modern twist to the returning trend.
The 'British style' moccasins and leather driving gloves are classic heritage style whilst the
woollen material of the bag and hat complete the look and make it perfect for Autumn.

I couldn't help myself, I was desperate to see what the outfit looked like all together so I attempted to sketch it. What do you think? I've not completely lost all my artist talent since school haha.
