Design + Development by Powered by Blogger. Peace and Love Collection Shoes

On Tuesday morning the postie came to my door with a big box and I knew in an instant that inside would be these amazing shoes. I was lucky enough to win an item from's Peace and Love Collection. The collection is all about stars, sequins, studs and stripes and these shoes happened to be my favourite.
The leather spiked ankle boots cost £54.99 and are such amazing quality. The boots are easy to get on due to the zip on the inside.
The heel on these boots is rather high, perhaps a bit too high for a full night of drinks and dancing, but I'll give it a go! The approximate heel size is 6 and a half inches...
and I think this photo depicts the height quite clearly.
This is a close up of the platform which should make walking in such high heels that bit easier.
This is a close up on the studs - they are a lethal weapon! They're actually quite sharp which makes trying to hold the shoes to put them on a sore experience, never mind how sore it would be to get a kick up the bum with them. The studs make the boots look so edgy and different and I think they'll look awesome paired with a really girly lace dress.

I absolutely love these shoes and am delighted and so lucky to have won them. These boots have proven to be popular having already sold out once. They're available in sizes 3-8 and are true to size. The boots are also available in a suede style material and a cheetah pony skin material. If you fancy a pair of your own be quick, the Peace and Love Collection is an exclusive Spring/Summer 2012 collection and won't be around forever.

Glitter Shoes

I'm a bit of a magpie and as soon as these style shoes hit the shops last year I had to get a pair. I absolutely love how they look with a plain black dress, adding instant sparkle and glam. This pair is from Garage Shoes and were £24.99 last November. They don't appear to be on the website anymore but a similar pair are available in Schuh. They are an absolute must have for nights out all year round.

The multi-coloured glitters make pairing a clutch easy.
The platform adds height and makes the huge heel a little bit more wearable.

Gift Ideas from Fabu-licious

Summer time always hits my bank balance hardest with all the shopping trips, nights out and BIRTHDAYS!
I love searching for birthday presents but it's so difficult to be continuously original. Where I live, there's not many shops so I pretty much rely on the internet for birthday gifts.

Being on holiday from uni it's great to get together with my friends and have a wee drink so i decided some wine/cocktail glasses would be a great wee idea. These can also be taken back to uni and add some girlyness to everyone's new kitchens.

I was over the moon when I found the website

There's so much to choose from and at great prices too. One birthday has just passed and I'm already planning ahead for the next five and it's 21st all round (well expect my mum) so I want to get things the girls will remember and keep for ever. I bought cocktail glass for the first present and stupidly enough forgot to take a photo so instead I'll just share a few of the photos from the website, including a few other quirky gifts that i'm tempted to buy.
